My sincere sympathy to all George's family. I met George when I joined the staff at Government House in 1995. His jovial outgoing personality endeared him to everyone. He frequently spoke about Doris, the love of his life, as well as all his family and kept us updated on all your comings and goings. He loved you all! Although we never connected in a number of years, I often thought of him in retirement and envisioned him whittling on a piece of wood and creating a masterpiece. I think of your Dad every time I use the trivet he made for me many years ago. Rest in peace my friend.

Dear Monica, Brett, Ray, Rosemary, Jennifer and families: How sad I am in learning of your dad's passing. Your family is part of my favorite memories from our years at Bunbury school - AY, horses, recess, baseball games. George was quiet and kind.
