Obituary of Frank Gallant

Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Provincial Palliative Care Center, Charlottetown on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 the death occurred of Frank Brian Gallant of Hazelbrook, age 80 years. Husband of Rosita. Loving father of Renee Gallant, Jason (Kimberly), Michael and Jonathan (Jessica).  Cherished grandfather of Samuel, Olivia, Mya, Feury, Cohen and Will.  Frank will be missed by his siblings Mary Bellefleur, Wayne, Patricia and Debra Gallant. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.  Predeceased by his parents Vincent and Rosella (McCarron) Gallant and brothers Linus (Anita Murray, Sue Power), John "Jack", George Gerard and brother-in-law Reginald "Bill" Bellefleur. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held Thursday,  September 19, 2024 from 3-6 pm.  Assumption Council #: 6899 of the Knights of the Columbus will hold a prayer service at the funeral home at 2:15pm. All members are invited to attend. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 10:30 am. Memorial donations may be made online to the PEI Cancer Treatment Center of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
