Obituary of Margaret MacDougall

Margaret MacDougall of Charlottetown and formerly of Morell, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and close friends at the PEI Atlantic Baptist Home on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the age of 88 years.

Margaret was born in  Aughnacloy, Northern Ireland and moved to Canada at the age of 20. Dear mother of Lisa Dunphy (Joe). Grandmother of Marybeth Dunphy, Jenny Dunn (D.J.) and Michael Dunphy (Kellie). Great-grandmother of Stella, Gavin, Maggie, Myles, Sophie and Thomas. She will be greatly missed by her friends from “The Emily”, especially Carol Gillis, Brian Moase and Mavis Murphy. Predeceased by her husband George Kenneth “Ken” MacDougall.

A celebration of life service will be held at the Peter Gordon Memorial United Church, Morell on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 2:00 pm. 

Interment will take place at West St. Peters Cemetery.
