Obituary of Bob Johnston

Robert “Bob” Preston Johnston of Charlottetown passed away peacefully at the Garden Home, Charlottetown on Saturday May 4, 2024 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Christine (Harding). Dear father of Stephanie Cairns and grandfather of Maya, Morgan, Brianna and Megan. Father-in-law of Bhairvi Johnston. Brother of Lenny and Sr. Frances Johnston. Predeceased by his parents Ray and Frances (Bradley) Johnston, first wife Joan (Kelly), his son Mark, and siblings Austin, Mary Kilbride, John, Sr. Georgina Johnston, Jim, Gerry and Clara Duffy. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where a visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-6 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held from Our Lady of the Assumption Church Thursday at 10:30 am. Interment later in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made online to the Diabetes Association and the PEI Humane Society.
