Your dad was a great friend of ours. We will be missed.
Our condolences to you all.
I have kept in touch with Darrell, calling him 3-4 times a year. Always “looked forward to his smiling voice”. He was a man of such optimism. Even though we haven’t seen him in years, and didn’t talk to him in months, when we did start a conversation, it was like we just spoke last week. I always kept him updated on what was going on back here in swift. Conversations would sometimes last an hour or more. The nice thing about him being on the east coast was that I could call him at 6 am in the morning and it was 9:00 there. He always welcomed a call.
We too look forward to seeing him again in heaven.
I don’t cry very often. But today, I did.
