Aunt Miriam and family, on behalf of the Joseph MacIsaac clan, we were all so sad to hear of Uncle Joe's passing and we can imagine how you are all missing him so much. What a beautiful life he lived. We remember Uncle Joe for his gentleness, kindness, and enthusiasm when any of us showed up. Being greeted by Uncle Joe was like being in a ticker tape parade. He just made you feel so good.
It was lovely to see the pictorial tribute to him and all the McCabe cousins together. Just know that we all are giving a great big group hug.
with all our love
Molly (John), Dan (Linda), Larry (Betty), Lisa (Pat), and Paul (Jocelyn).

Hello everyone
You must be heartbroken! We, John,Annemarie,Tommy and I are all thinking of you. And sending our prayers as well. Uncle Joe was such a sweetie. Always interested in what was going on in our lives and had a great sense of humour! Stayed in touch with our dad after mom died…first thing dad would say to us after they had spoken…he would meet us at the door with a “ was talking to Joe today” and would have a smile on his face and proceed to fill us in on the news from the island! Will be thinking of you tomorrow and in the days to come. Love the whelan nieces and nephews

Dear Miriam, Gerry and Clare, My sincere sympathy to you on Joe's death. He was a kind, friendly, thoughtful man who lived the virtues of his faith. He and Miriam were so caring to my mother when taking her to mass so many days. Mom would gratefully say: "door to door service" I loved his story about the green bananas, which Gerry said gave him a lot of mileage! I am out of province thus unable to attend the wake and funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the days ahead. May you take comfort in knowing he is at peace with God.

Great Aunt Miriam and family:
Thinking of you all as you celebrate and honour Great Uncle Joe's life. Always enjoyed our little chats whenever I went to visit Nanny. He always kept tabs on where I was living and often had a story or laugh to share. A lovely obituary and video montage to highlight his well-lived life.
Hugs and prayers,

To Miriam and family:
Please accept our sincere sympathy on Joe's passing. My Aunt Alice always had such kind words to say about Joe and he certainly is a perfect example of a life well-lived. My husband, Dick Lawlor, had worked with Joe for a short period of time at the Liquor Commission before moving to Halifax and he said that Joe was always so pleasant, kind and very helpful to him as well as to the customers who came into the store. What a nice way to be remembered!
