Dear Storey family, I am sorry to hear of the passing of your mother, Emma. As a teenager I remember the yummy food she made. There always seemed to be molasses on the table and I loved molasses. We wish to extend our sincere sympathy, with the passing of Emma. She was such a kind and friendly lady in the community. I first got to know her, when one of our sons was presented with a trophy for 4-H public speaking, donated by their company. He was very proud to have won this trophy, and we were grateful for the Storey’s generosity. May she rest in peace.

I will always remember Emma and the times we shared together. She always made sure I had a little something to eat when we attended UCW meetings as she knew I normally came directly from work. Emma was a great friend to many. She would visit my Mom and Dad when he was sick, as a hospice volunteer she would bring ice cream from the DQ and other treats, they had many laughs. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and loved you all very much. Thinking of you, hold onto your cherished memories.

Dear Harry, Veda, Alice, Joyce and Ian, We all have wonderful memories of your mom. Stephen, Laura and Sarah still talk about her cookies and how she’d encourage them to have “just one more”. Tony loved going to lobster suppers with Emma and their mutual love of lemon meringue pie continued throughout the years. Anne loved spending time in Millview, joining in on the family activities….picking berries, playing in the bag barn and savouring Emma’s homemade bread. She was an amazing, strong woman. Mike and I are so sorry to hear about Emma. We have such great memories of the busy household in Millview! I loved my trips over the bridge from Mt. Allison, and Emma would always introduce me as "Peg from away". Who knew? Hal would have liked that, Joyce! Alice, I wish I could be there for you. I loved Emma.
