Obituary of Allan Bruce Somers

Surrounded by love at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, July 9, 2026 the death occurred of Allan Bruce Somers of Cornwall, age 85 years.  

Beloved husband of Ella Somers (Walker).  Loving father of Patricia Somers, Deborah Bovyer (Steven) and step-father to Larry Adams (Ann), Rhonda Adams and Dean Adams (Pam).  Cherished grandfather of Amanda Thoy, Allan Corney, Miranda Bovyer and Colby Bovyer.  Great-grandfather of Hudson and Easton Thoy and Atley and Ellis Corney.  Allan will be missed by his sister Arlene Gillian (Gordon). Brother-in-law of Inez Somers. Predeceased by his parents Elton and Isabel (Cummings) Somers, his first wife Judith, his son Boyd and by his brother Edmund Somers.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2026 from 3-5 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 13, 2026 at 10:30 am.  Interment will take place at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
