Obituary of Viola Catherine Fisher

Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Riverview Manor, Montague on Friday, January 31, 2025 the death occurred of Viola Catherine Fisher (Shepard), formerly of Lorne Valley, age 87 years.  

Loving mother of Wayne Fisher, deceased (Olivia), Kenny Fisher (Catherine), Merlin Fisher (Rhonda), Karen Holland (Leo) and Cathy Villard (Harold). Cherished grandmother of Natasha, Shaunacea, Kristen, Nigel, Darcy, Laura, Tiffany, Kyle, Kaelin, Robert and Danielle. Great grammy to 10 great grandchildren. Viola will be missed by her brother Bernely Shepard (Rhonda). Sister In law of Peggy Fisher, Theresa Fisher, Louise Shepard and Boyd MacMaster. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and extended families. Predeceased by her parents Thaddeus and Mary (Arsenault) Shepherd, husbands Melvin Fisher and Edward Fitzpatrick; and her siblings Edna, Allison, Louise and Junior.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where a funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 3:00 pm.  Visiting hours will be held Sunday 2-5 pm.  Interment will take place later at Lorne Valley Cemetery.
